A family affair in Shieldaig!

This week’s Street Prize proved that Angus is dedicated in his cause to travel the length and breadth of Scotland to hand out £25,000 Street Prizes, as he journeyed to the north west of the country to surprise winners in Shieldaig.

And this week’s winners were certainly keeping it in the family – of all the five £5,000 Street Prize winners two were sisters and two were uncle and niece!

It seemed as if the whole town was already buzzing with excitement as Angus popped round to his first winner Tina Mcgregor.

“I’m over the moon!” said Tina when Angus took her £5,000 out of its gold envelope. “This is a fantastic prize, and I think the fact that players’ money goes to charity is absolutely brilliant.”

Lynn Frost was equally as excited: “It’s only a small place so everybody knows everybody here. This news will travel fast and I’m sure there’ll be a big party to celebrate – everyone will be invited, not just the winners!”

43 other locals from IV54 picked up a share of the £5,000 Sector Prize, giving the whole area something to celebrate.

This week’s winners just go to show, it’s not just the big cities that can strike it rich with the People’s Postcode Lottery. No matter where you live in Scotland there’s a great chance that Angus will be dropping by soon, so sign up now to make sure you’re in the draw when he arrives!
