I’m really getting to know the city of Aberdeen and no wonder – I’ve just been there for the EIGHTH time to pay out prize cheques!
This time it was Bon Accord Street, AB11 6TX, and there was plenty of accord going round the neighbourhood with 78 sector winners getting cash prizes.
The biggie, the £25,000 weekly Street Prize, went to one lucky man who runs a guesthouse. Now he’s planning a well-earned break with a big family Christmas and a sunshine holiday in the New Year.
Aberdeen is definitely my luckiest area so far, and I love to see the faces of our delighted winners when I knock on their doors!
And because 40p from every ticket goes to Scottish charities, there’s been lots of help for good causes in Aberdeen. Thanks to players, three local projects to support children and families have had cash to carry on their important work. Winners all round!
