An extra special delivery!
Sharron Coupe (38) got an extra special delivery at work this week thanks to the People’s Postcode Lottery. Admin Manager Sharron was flabbergasted when Street Prize Presenter, Angus Purden, dropped by her work place to present her with a cheque for £25,000.
72 ticket holders living in Sharron’s postcode sector - KY3 9 Kinghorn, shared the Postcode Sector Prize of £5,000, receiving prizes from £70 to £140.
Sharron said: “I’m never usually lucky! Winning the People’s Postcode Lottery has made my year. I’ve wanted a new car for ages so I’ll definitely be treating myself to a new one, and I’ll definitely be getting the drinks in for my work mates later on!”
Sharron signed up to the People’s Postcode Lottery as she believes in the Scottish charities it supports. Sharron said: “I’m a great lover of wildlife and I started playing the People’s Postcode Lottery because the money raised for charity stays in Scotland.”
This latest win is great news for Scottish charities – Maggie’s Centres, CHILDREN 1ST and Scottish Wildlife Trust – who have already benefited from the People’s Postcode Lottery to the tune of £850,000. For every ticket sold, The great news is40p goes direct to Scottish charities and that as the People’s Postcode Lottery grows, the amount donated to charity will increase.
