Wild times in Corstorphine thanks to PPL!
Corstorphine was the lucky neighbourhood in this September’s People’s Postcode Lottery Belter. With over £100,000 of prizes being given away at our Belter held at Edinburgh Zoo, it was a wild day out for the 51 winners!
Our Postcode Belter Street Prize winner was 82 year old Etta Stewart. The Edinburgh gran was stunned and amazed when Angus Purden knocked on her door and went on to unveil a cheque for a massive £44,005. Having brought up their two sons in the Middle East, Etta and husband Douglas (85) moved in to their Corstorphine flat five years ago. Little did Etta believe they’d have such good luck in the postcode! “I still can’t stop pinching myself! I can’t believe it.”
Once Angus had cheered the Stewarts no end, he headed off to nearby Edinburgh Zoo to present 51 sector winners with their cheques ranging from £777 to £3,108. Not only that, extra lucky winner, Mary Rowan (85) was presented with a brand new MINI One!
