Unearthing more winners in the City of Discovery!
This week it was Dundee’s turn to strike it rich as three ticket holders in DD2 5RJ shared the People’s Postcode Lottery weekly prize of £25,000. The winners didn’t end there as a further 117 local people split the sector prize of £5,000 – all of them in agreement that turning 120 people into winners isn’t a bad week’s work!
With 40p from each £2 ticket going to charity and currently over £890,000 raised, organisations doing great work across the Scotland are also sharing the winning feeling.
One charity close to many Dundonians’ hearts is the Maggie’s Care Centre at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. The People’s Postcode Lottery has donated over £300,000 to Maggie’s so far – enough to keep Maggie’s Ninewells open for an entire year and help up to 18,000 people in Scotland who have been affected by cancer.
So, if you want to discover for yourself what it feels like to be in the money as well as helping charities local to you, make sure that you have a ticket when the jackpot hits your postcode!
