Maggie's is delighted to announce that it will benefit from the sales of Memories, an art book of 12 stories that explore the thoughts and experiences of people who have been affected by cancer - either having been diagnosed with cancer and surviving, or having lost a loved one.
The project was launched in the summer of 2009 by Designers Against Human Rights Abuse (DAHRA), Subism, OneTenEleven Media and editor Garrick Webster. Net profits from sales of the Memories project book will be donated towards the development of Maggie's Online Centre.
Speaking of their recent visit to Maggie's London, Garrick wrote on his blog: "We were really impressed by the open and friendly atmosphere there. The place is a design dream as you can see from the picture above – modern but comfortable."
You can find out more information about the project on the Memories.Subism blog http://memories.subism.co.uk.
Maggie’s has received over £74,000 in unrestricted funding for its work in England from players of the People’s Postcode Lottery. Help raise even more for their great work by subscribing today!
