Ambassador for Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust
Paul is the weatherman for BBC Yorkshire and a much-loved character in the region – renowned for his on-screen banter with his colleague Christa. Born in Keighley, he talks of how pleased he is to see the People’s Postcode Lottery supporting an area he loves:
"I have always enjoyed the Dales. I have family who still live at Linton Falls near Grassington, and many a happy day has been spent in Wharfedale. I spent four years living in Knaresborough and often went walking in Nidderdale. I’m delighted to be an Ambassador for The Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust and proud to support the work they do to maintain this special area for the enjoyment of all.
"The assistance from the People’s Postcode Lottery will help YDMT to continue the good work, enabling local people to achieve practical projects which will enhance the Dales for future generations."
